1. Service Overview
Velly Live is a calm, wellbeing-minded app for small daily check-ins. You can share short moments, keep private notes, and record a brief video when the App gently checks in on you — and decide what stays private and what you share with others. There is no account: your content is stored on your device unless you choose to share it. By downloading or using Velly Live, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old — or the age of digital consent or majority required in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater — to use Velly Live. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will use Velly Live in line with all applicable laws. Velly Live is for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Community Guidelines & Acceptable Use
Velly Live only stays soft and safe if everyone is respectful. When you share content publicly, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone.
- Post hateful, discriminatory, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content.
- Solicit sexual services or money, or engage in any commercial or fraudulent activity.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or age.
- Share content involving minors, or use Velly Live if you are under the required age.
- Share another person's private information without consent.
- Spam, scam, or use bots or automated tools to access or manipulate the service.
We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive behavior.
4. Your Content & Conduct
You are responsible for the content you create, including your moments, notes, profile, and check-in videos. You own your content. Notes are private and remain on your device. When you choose to share a moment or check-in publicly, you grant Velly Live a limited license to host and display it so that feature can work. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
5. Safety Tools & Reporting
Velly Live gives you tools to stay in control:
- Report: flag any shared check-in or moment. Reporting hides it from you immediately.
- Block: instantly hide and cut off anyone across the App.
- Hide: quietly remove a single video from your view.
For publicly shared content, we may review reports and remove content or members who violate these Terms. We aim to act on serious reports promptly.
6. Your Data
How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy. Your notes, moments, and check-in videos are stored on your device, and you can delete any of them at any time inside the App. Removing the App from your device removes the content stored locally.
7. Device Permissions
Velly Live may request access to your camera, microphone, photo library, and notifications. These are used only for their stated features — recording your check-in videos, adding photos to moments or your profile, and gentle check-in reminders. Permissions are optional and can be revoked at any time in your device Settings; denying one disables only the related feature.
8. Suspension & Termination
You may stop using Velly Live at any time and delete your content from within the App. For publicly shared content, we may suspend or remove access — with or without notice — if you violate these Terms, harm others, or use the service unlawfully. We may also remove content that breaches our guidelines. A member removed for a violation is not entitled to return.
9. Intellectual Property
Velly Live, including its software, interface, the Velly leaf mascot character, branding, and design, is owned by Velly Live or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the App grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use it on your device, and no other rights.
10. Wellbeing Disclaimer
Velly Live is a gentle journaling and sharing app for everyday reflection. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or crisis services. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are struggling or in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted performance.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velly Live and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App or from interactions with other members.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, the updated version will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Velly Live after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
